{September 29, 2012}   Published…..AGAIN!

Hey everyone, I’m dropping by to say that I have been published….again. This time however, it was a solo project. My first book in my book series is entitled “Lasso Me a Mom”.

Summary: Nikki Turner has it all: she’s an honor student, has a popular boyfriend and is a star dancer. However; never is there a time that a smile crosses her face. With a constant frown and a sharp tongue, she doesn’t let anyone get a rise out of her, especially her teacher Cassie McGregor.

When it is revealed that Nikki is homeless and in the foster care system, Cassie, who is a certified foster mother, is chosen to be her temporary guardian, an agreement they both object from the start. As their animosity begins to deplete, Nikki and Cassie realize that what they’ve always wanted just might bring them closer.

It is currently available for the kindle ONLY on Amazon. I’m working on getting the paperback version together. Please go and check it out! 🙂

{September 17, 2012}   ❀TWENTY❀

So I turned 20 yesterday. I still can’t believe it. The best thing that about all of this is that I was published roughly two weeks before I turned 20. How many people get to say that. My sisters and I wrote a book together entitled Two Pair: A Quadruple or Nothing Story. The series is loosley based off of us. I’m a quadruplet for those of you that don’t know.

{September 17, 2012}   Book Review: The Short Straw Bride

Okay, so  I just finished The Short Straw Bride by Karen Witemeyer. I was hooked instantly. The plot of the book sounded like something Denise Hunter would write so I was compelled to pick up the book.

I was a little weary after I found out it was a historical fiction book but I enjoyed it. The characters were so real and easy to relate to. Meredith’s fire and spark was great. Travis was so charming that i fell for him right away, even though he’s a fictional character.

I thought the take on a bridal plot was new and refreshing. I’ve read a lot of books recently about marriages and family and this one is easily in my top favorites. I recommend it to everyone here. You may want to clear a lot of time in your day to read this book because once you start it’ll be hard to stop. 🙂

{September 4, 2012}   I’M PUBLISHED
